Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/2/2023
The purest goal scorer in NHL history, with his goals-per-game total unmatched, Mike Bossy was the driving force behind the New York Islanders iconic early-1980s Stanley Cup dynasty. Winning the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1982, Bossy was enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 1991. This signed team-issued photo of the superstar during what appears to be his rookie era has been framed into an attractive display. At 8" x 10", Bossy is shown in both portrait and full-body images, signing in thin black ink along with a personalization, with a hologram over the bottom right. Double-matted and framed to full dimensions of 17" x 21", a name and stats plaque appears beneath, with an NHL pin above. Bossy sadly left us in April of 2022 at just 65-years-of-age. A COA is attached to the reverse of the frame.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
