Minnesota’s 2nd round draft pick in 2000 at 33rd overall, Nick Schultz would go on to play 10 of his 15 years in the NHL with the Wild and currently ranks 2nd in all-time games played with the franchise. A two-time IIHF World Championships gold medalist with his native Canada, offered here is this Minnesota Wild third jersey worn by Schultz during the 2005-06 season. Left over stock made by Koho for the 2003-04 season with a single size “56” tag affixed to the inner collar, a piece of fabric with a Reebok patch sewn on has been added to cover up the old maker's mark on the back of the neck while the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a beautiful chenille Wild team crest with embroidered details, Schultz’s number “55” has been added to the sleeves and verso with “Schultz” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate on the upper back. Showing just light game wear via a small number of board burns to each sleeve, stick marks are found over the left sleeve numbers, lower front and collar bone areas with a team repair on the right side and an additional board burn observed on the left shoulder. A Wild team tag denoting the jersey as a ”2005-06 Set #1” example is sewn inside the rear hem and is accompanied by a matching Wild COA while the original Hockey Lodge team store tag is found inside the fight strap.
