Spending four seasons with UMass-Amherst, Conor Sheary went undrafted, and signed a two-year entry-level contract with Pittsburgh Penguins affiliate Wilkes-Barre, in 2015. Winning consecutive Stanley Cups with the club, we offer a photo-matched Pens jersey worn by Sheary during the Stanley Cup championship season of 2016-17, with the accompanying JerseyTRAK LOA listing the games the jersey was worn in, spanning from January 8th, 2017 to March 11th, 2017. Made by Reebok with a size “54” tag affixed to the inner collar, the crests of the NHL and Reebok adorn both the front and back necklines respectively. Sporting the well-known Penguins team crest over the very front that has been styled with embroidered details, the franchise’s 50 years anniversary patch resides over the right breast while the NHL’s centennial patch rests on the right sleeve. The sleeves and verso have had Sheary’s number “43” sewn to them in dual-layer tackle twill numerals with “Sheary” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer black twill letters. Presenting with good game-wear, stick marks and team repairs are exhibited over the front with an additional mend job near the left cuff. Both sleeves show additional stick marks as well as board burns with the right sleeve also having a red board paint transfer spot. A large yellow burn/paint transfer is observed through the front crest as well. Signed on the inside of the fight strap by equipment manager Dana Heinze, a Penguins team tag denoting the jersey as a “Set 2” specimen is sewn on the inside of the rear hem while the JerseyTRAK’s tracker is sewn into the fight strap. A Penguins COA along with the aforementioned JerseyTRAK LOA will accompany the piece
Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #653482806 (March 10th, 2017 vs Edmonton) to the stick marks and large team repair on the front.
