Having gone undrafted and bouncing between the NHL and AHL with the Rangers, Blue Jackets and Lightning organizations, Jonathan Marchessault bet on himself as he signed with the Florida Panthers for the 2016-17 season, instantly getting off to a hot start and becoming regarded as one of the best value signings of the previous summer due to his breakout season. Now a mainstay with the Vegas Golden Knights, offered here is this Panthers jersey worn by Marchessault during the 2016-17 season. Made by Reebok with a single size “54” tag gracing the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok are found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a Panthers team crest that displays embroidered details with matching alternate logo patches residing over each shoulder, the all-important NHL centennial patch is found on the right sleeve. Marchessault's number “81” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching dual-layer gold-over-white tackle twill numerals with “Marchessault” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white twill letters. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks, board burns and team repairs are observed over each sleeve while the right sleeve shows a couple of small unrepaired holes. Additional wear is seen via board burns, stick marks and small unrepaired holes on the reverse with pilling on the interior with a Panthers team tag sewn inside the left hip. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Images #637886502 (January 6th, 2017 vs Nashville) to the stick marks seen under the centennial patch. A Panthers COA with a Fanatics Authentics hologram affixed will accompany the jersey with an additional hologram having been affixed to the underside of the fight strap.
