Concluding the 1926-27 season with 19 wins, 4 losses and 3 ties, the Owen Sound Greys then defeated Meadford, Kitchener, Newmarket and Iroquois Falls in the playoffs, leading to a showdown in the Memorial Cup finals against Port Arthur. A best-of-three series, the Greys dominated, winning the first two games to be crowned Junior hockey champions of Canada. This framed cabinet photo features the 1926-27 Greys. At 12" x 14", with team colours to the upper right corner, the full team is shown in composite images along with the J. Ross Robertson and Memorial Cups. Each player is listed beneath his image, with the photographer over the bottom right. With no condition issues visible, the photo is set in a period frame to full dimensions of 14 1/2" x 16 1/2".
