Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023

Ending on a controversial pass incompletion, the 1953 Grey Cup was the 41st time the championship game was played, with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 12-6 at Varsity Stadium, on November 28, 1953. This would be the Tiger-Cats first championship since the merging of the Hamilton Tigers and Wildcats in 1950. We have a framed team photo of the 1953 Grey Cup champion Tiger-Cats. At roughly 16" x 19", the black and white photo shows the full team for the official photo, with a paper caption added listing the players pictured. Framed to 18 1/2" x 22" with light wear to the frame, this photo is ideal for any Hamilton collection.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
