Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/2/2023
The only NHL goaltender in history to be awarded the Ted Lindsay, William Jennings, Vezina and Hart Memorial trophies all in the same season and the best goalie to suit up for the Montreal Canadiens since the days of Patrick Roy, offered here is this collection of two (2) Montreal Canadiens jerseys signed by netminder Carey Price. With both the home and away sweaters present, both jerseys are made by Reebok and feature brand and size tagging (one “L” and one “XL”) affixed to the inner collars and over the lower front of each while remaining in new-with-tags condition. Both having been decorated over the front with the famed “CH” crest of Les Canadiens, the sleeves and verso of each has been accented with Price’s number “31” in tackle twill numerals with “Price” spelt out across the top of the upper back on each as well. Both jerseys have been signed over the reverse number “1” with silver and blue ink signatures respectively that both display well but it should be noted that the silver ink signature on the away jersey does show some lightness. Featuring holograms affixed underneath each signature, matching COA’s will accompany.
