Founded in 1924 and beginning play with the 1924-25 season, the Boston Bruins are nearing their centennial celebrations, destined to become the third team in National Hockey League history to hit the 100-year plateau, offered here is this collection of twenty-two (22) recently graded Boston Bruins hockey cards from the years 1957-58 to 2011-12 including 14 of HOFer Bobby Orr. Part of various Topps, O-Pee-Chee, Parkhurst and Upper Deck releases, cards picturing the eight time Norris Trophy winner include a 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee stamp (KSA FP 1), 1969-70 Topps #24 (KSA VGE 4), 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee #249 Art Ross Trophy (KSA VGE 4), 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee #100 (KSA VGE 4), 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee #245 Award Winner (KSA ENM 6), 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee #3 Shield Push Out (KSA VGE 4), 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee #30 All-Star (KSA EX 5), 1974-75 O-Pee-Chee #130 All-Star (KSA VGE 4), 1975-76 O-Pee-Chee #100 (KSA NMM 8), 1975-76 O-Pee-Chee #314 Team Leaders w/Esposito (KSA NMM+ 8.5), 1977-78 O-Pee-Chee #251 (KSA NM+ 7.5), 1995-96 Parkhurst Retro #7 (KSA NMM 8), 2008-09 Upper Deck Masterpieces #33 (KSA MINT 9) and a 2011-12 Upper Deck Hockey Heroes #HH17 (KSA MINT 9). The remaining eight (8) slabs house cards including those of a 1957-58 Topps #10 Johnny Bucyk RC (KSA VG 3), 1961-62 Topps #11 Charlie Burns (KSA NM 7), 1961-62 Topps #15 Orland Kurtenbach (KSA ENM 6), 1968-69 O-Pee-Chee #210 Johnny Bucyk All-Star (KSA VGE 4), 1968-69 Topps #6 Derek Sanderson (KSA ENM 6), 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee Boston Bruins Mini-Card Album (KSA VG 3), 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee #232 Stanley Cup Champions (KSA VGE 4) and a 1974-75 O-Pee-Chee #161 Don Cherry RC (KSA G 2). A wonderful collection of black and gold legends that are sure to pique the interest of both collectors and investors alike, don’t let this one pass you by! All the holders remain in good condition with just light scratches/scuffs present.
