Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
Beautifully stylistic, and produced for the most elegant of households during the late-19th and very early-20th century, we have a collection of 3 different figural hockey napkin rings. Each made by Meriden, with the company stamp on the underside of each base, to the best of our knowledge, this is a complete set of hockey napkin rings produced by the silversmiths, with these having production numbers of ""643", "644" and "645". All three features crossed hockey sticks with laurel wreaths, including one that is triangle-shaped, one sport a rectangular holder with a previous owners initials engraved, and the last one has a circular holder with mounted cherub angel. All three show just tarnishing with no damage. From the Brent Sobie antique hockey and baseball collection.
