Members of the OHA Senior League, playing home games at the Classic City Arena, the Stratford Indians won the J. Ross Robertson Cup as league champions in 1952, advancing to the Allan Cup. Taking on the Fort Frances Canadians, the series would go 6 games, with the Canadians crowned Canada's senior amateur champions. For the team's league-winning J. Ross Robertson Cup title, team members were presented with elegant silver-plated trays, with this example originally presented to Ken Ducharme, who scored 30 points in 48 games for the Indians in 1951-52. At approx 17" x 26" including the curled handles, the tray features gorgeous scroll and floral work with engraved text within the center stating "Presented to - Kenneth Ducharme - Member of Stratford Indians - Eastern Canada Senior Hockey Champions - by - City of Stratford - 1951-52". An "SP Copper" (silver plated) mark is also on the reverse, with just light surface wear to the tray.
