Spending the majority of his career in the Big Apple, Dan Girardi was a stay-at-home defenseman who went undrafted. From his time with the Rangers we have a signed stick used during the warm-up on Hockey Fights Cancer night (Oct 23, 2016), an equipment bag used during the 2010s and a road locker nameplate from the 2014-15 NHL season. First, the stick is an Easton Stealth model with "Girardi" factory graphics to the upper shaft and the original purple tape to the blade, handle and shaft. Light use is shown, with initials handwritten to the upper shaft and Girardi signing across the blade tape in black marker. Used in the warm-up, light use is shown with a few holograms added to the blade. Next, the equipment bag is in Rangers navy blue with red and white trim, with embroidered Rangers logos to each side. There is also a nameplate with "5", along with a Rangers team logo and the club's address beneath. The bag shows just light use. The nameplate is 2" x 10" with "Girardi" and "5" in Rangers colours, along with a team emblem. Steiner LOAs will accompany for the stick and nameplate.
