Selected 127th overall by the Rangers at the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, future Blueshirts captain, Ryan Callaghan, would wear this set 3 jersey during the latter part of the 2007-08 regular season as well as in six games of the 2008 NHL Playoffs. Made by Reebok and sporting a single size “58+" tag affixed to the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok are present over the front and reverse necklines respectively. The front of the tie neck garment is decorated with “Rangers” going diagonally across the chest in blue-over-red drop shadow tackle twill letters with the sleeves and verso accented with Callahan’s number “24” in matching drop shadow style and “Callahan” arched across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting moderate but good game-use, team repairs totalling three are observed over the right sleeve while two small unrepaired holes are found over the right sleeve and lower front respectively. Additional wear to the customized shortened jersey includes dark stick marks over the sleeves, front and sides as well as board burns in the same areas and pilling on the interior at the arms/elbows, hems and left cuff. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #80323958 (March 19th, 2008 vs New Jersey) to the stick marks seen over the front. A MeiGray patch numbered “E03243” is sewn to the interior hem with the company’s population report listing the jersey as a “White Set 3/Playoffs” specimen. The jersey is accompanied by a matching LOA.
