Still regarded as the greatest defenceman to ever lace up the skates and play in the National Hockey League, Bobby Orr would win the James Norris Trophy as the league’s best blueliner an astonishing 8 years in a row during his 12-year NHL career. Offered here is this intriguing lot of six (6) cards featuring Orr ranging from the years of 1968-69 to 1971-72 from companies such as O-Pee-Chee, Topps and Dad's Cookies. Three of the first four cards in the included six display the tellings of Orr winning the aforementioned Norris Trophy including O-Pee-Chee offerings from 1968-69, graded Beckett VG-EX+ 4.5, 1969-70, graded PSA EX-MT 6 and 1970-71, also graded by Beckett and also earning an EX-MT 6. The final slabbed O-Pee-Chee card hails from the 1969-70 set, decreeing Orr’s accomplishment of being named a First Team All-Star the previous year, that has earned a mark of VG-EX 4 from Beckett. The lone Topps offering included is the ever popular 1971-72 card of Orr, #100 in the set, that has been deemed worthy of a NEAR MINT+ 7.5 from Beckett, while a 1970-71 Dad’s Cookies card of Orr, once again slabbed by Beckett, this time in an oversized holder, has earned a NEAR MINT 7. All the holders remain in good condition despite some of them being older examples, with only light scratches/scuffs found worth noting.
