Finishing the 1990-91 regular season with 41 wins and 88 points to place first in the Patrick Division, the Pittsburgh Penguins would defeat New Jersey, Washington and Boston in the playoffs before a Stanley Cup Finals birth against the Minnesota North Stars who they would defeat in six games to give the Penguins their first Cup in franchise history. Offered here, is this jersey that has been signed by 14 members of the 1990-91 Pittsburgh Penguins. An Adidas band displaying “54” sizing appears over the inner collar with a “Team Classics” label below, the front of the jersey is decorated with the Penguins team crest that features embroidered details while the 1991 Stanley Cup Finals patch resides over the right breast. The sleeves and verso have been accented with the number “91” with “Stanley Cup” spelt out across the affixed nameplate in single layer yellow twill letters. All the signors have penned their autographs in black ink with those found including Lemieux, Jagr, Francis, Coffey, Stevens, Barrasso, Recchi, Mullen, Murphy, Samuelsson, Trottier, Bourque, Errey and Young. All the autographs display well with only light bleeding worth mentioning.
