Finishing the 80-game regular season with a record of 43-28-3-6, the 2006-07 Hamilton Bulldogs would eliminate Rochester, Manitoba and Chicago to set up a date with the Hershey Bears in the 2007 Calder Cup Finals where they would claim the franchise’s first and only Calder Cup Championship. Worn by Kyle Chipchura, who contributed 13 points in 22 games, we offer this jersey worn by the 18th overall pick by Montreal in 2004 during games 1 and 2 of the Finals. Sporting size “56” and Reebok labels on the interior collar, a Reebok crest is found over the reverse neckline with additional crests for the AHL, Reebok and the 2007 Calder Cup Finals over the reverse hem. The front of the tie-neck garment is decorated with the Bulldogs team crest in tackle twill with embroidered details along with a Pepsi patch over the right breast. The Montreal Canadiens logo, the NHL affiliate of Hamilton, resides over each shoulder. The sleeves and verso have been accented with Chipchura’s number “17” in white-over-blue tackle twill numerals with “Chipchura” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white letters. Worn for just the two games, the jersey shows light game wear via a dark stick mark near the left armpit and sweat staining at the collar. A MeiGray group patch has been sewn into the interior reverse hem of the jersey with an AHL league LOA accompanying the piece.
