Featuring the greatest defenceman to ever play in one of the most iconic moments ever captured during a hockey game, Bobby Orr’s famed Stanley Cup winning-goal in overtime of game 4 to clinch the 1970 Stanley Cup would be the first time in 29 years that the Bruins would raise Lord Stanley’s mug above their heads. Offered here, is this print on canvas of “The Goal” that has been signed by Orr, St. Louis defenceman Noel Picard and goalie Glenn Hall. Measuring approx. 27 ½” x 19 ½” and framed to dimensions of 33 ½” x 25 ½”, all three have signed in blue ink alongside their respective images with the autographs displaying well despite some fading being seen from age. Serial numbered “69/100” in matching ink in the lower left hand corner, a WGA hologram is affixed in the same area with a matching COA accompanying the piece. Housed in a sleek black and brushed metal frame that presents well, the piece would make excellent conversation starter in anyone’s collection.
Of note, while all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occur during shipping.
Addendum; there is a small hole in the paper on the lower back portion of the frame.
