Drafted 174th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2011, Josh Archibald would win a Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2017. After two years in the desert with Arizona, Archibald would sign with the Edmonton Oilers for the 2019-20 season with this jersey worn by the forward during his first season in Oil Country. An Adidas band with “54” appears over the inner collar along with an affixed tag from Elite Sportswear. Decorated over the front with the well-known Oilers crest that features embroidered details, Archibald’s number “15” appears over the sleeves and verso in ventilated tackle twill with “Archibald” across the affixed matching nameplate. Sporting light game-use, stick marks are seen over the sleeves and front of the jersey. An Oilers team tagging patch is sewn along the interior reverse hem as is a MeiGray patch numbered “S02621” with the company’s population report stating that the jersey is an “Orange Set 2” specimen. A matching Oilers LOA will accompany the piece.
