Originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks, Kevin Hayes elected to attend Boston College and afterwards signed as a free-agent with the New York Rangers, spending four and a half seasons in the Big Apple. Hailing from his rookie season of 2014-15, presented here is this Rangers jersey worn by Hayes during round two of the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Made by Reebok, a size “58” flag tag is affixed to the collar, with a Rangers barcode affixed above along with a Steiner hologram while NHL and Reebok crests are found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in blue-over-red drop-shadow tackle twill, Hayes’ number “13” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Hayes” across the affixed arching nameplate. Sporting good game-wear, stick marks, board burns and red board paint transfer are found near the cuff of each sleeve while other light stick marks are found at the right arm pit and between the left sleeve numbers. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #472907324 (May 10th, 2015 vs Washington) to the stick mark between the numbers of the left sleeve. A matching Steiner LOA will accompany the piece.
