With a collective total of 19 All-Star Game appearances and two World Series Championships between the groups along with many other top awards, the Major Leagues were in good hands when Brian McCann, Todd Helton, Adam Kennedy and Alfonso Soriano were representing them. Presented here is this bat collection of four. The Brian McCann bat was used during the 2006 season with the Atlanta Braves. A Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick Pro model measuring 34”, the barrel is stamped with “Brain McCann” while the knob and barrel cup feature the catchers handwritten number “16” in black marker. The knob features stamping and handwritten notations for the model and production date. Good game use is exhibited with pine tar on the handle and numerous ball transfers and bat rack marks on the barrel. McCann has penned a bold black marker signature on the barrel between the Rawlings logo and name stamping that appears without issue. A JSA sticker numbered “AC82009” is affixed in the cup at the end of the bat. The Todd Helton bat is an unused Mizuno Pro Limited model. Black in colour and measuring 33.5”, the piece remains in excellent condition with just a handful of small scuffs. The barrel features the Mizuno logo as well as Helton’s name on the barrel. Helton has signed a fine silver ink signature on the barrel between the stampings that displays well with minor smudging in spots. A JSA sticker numbered “AC82014” has been affixed to the end of the barrel. Third, is a game-issue unused bat from Adam Kennedy from 2002. A Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick model measuring 32.5”, the barrel features the stamping of “Adam Kennedy” and “Angels” while the knob features stamping for the model and production date. The bat remains in excellent condition with a few marks throughout. Kennedy has signed a bold black marker signature on the barrel that displays without issue. A JSA sticker numbered “AC82010” is affixed to the end of the bat. Lastly, is a game-issued Sam Bat intended for Alfonso Soriano of the Washington Nationals from 2006. An AS12 Rideau Crusher model measuring 35”, the bat remains in excellent condition with just light handling marks throughout. The barrel features the Sam Bat logo sticker as well as the stamping for the model, Soriano’s name and the Washington Nationals. The end of the barrel features the hand written notations for the length, production date and model. All three bats with JSA stickers are accompanied by matching certificates of authenticity.
