A five-time all-star from 2016-2020 and the Vezina Trophy winner for the 2015-16 season, Braden Holtby would backstop the Washington Capitals to a Stanley Cup championship in 2018, the first in franchise history. Hailing from the 2014-15 season, is this jersey worn by Holtby. Made by Reebok, “Goalie Style” size “58” tagging and a Reebok name band are attached to the collar, along with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. The front of the jersey has been styled with a partially embroidered Washington Capitals team crest while the Capitals 40th Anniversary patch sits over the right breast. Additionally, Caps alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. The sleeves and verso of the jersey has been decorated with Holtby’s number “70” in dual-layer tackle twill with “Holtby” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in matching style. Sporting good game-use, numerous puck marks are seen over the front and each sleeve with both sleeves also showing red colour transfer from rubbing up against posts. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched to Getty Image #467683398 (March 21st, 2015 vs Winnipeg) to the puck marks seen at the left shoulder and the right sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered “L01324” sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a “White Set 2 w/ 40th Anniversary Patch” specimen. An LOA from the Capitals will accompany.
