The mid-1990s were a prosperous time for the Detroit Red Wings and Steve Yzerman, with the legendary captain leading the team to three Stanley Cup Finals including the first appearance of Lord Stanley’s mug in Motown in over forty years. This stick was used by the superstar during the mid-1990s. A Vic 9050 APT model in Motor City colours, “Yzerman 5.0-115” is stamped to the upper shaft, with the original white tape over the blade and red cloth-over-white in place over the shaved handle. Exhibiting excellent game-use, the vintage lumber shows numerous dark marks throughout the entire length of the shaft with a number of scuffs and wear to the factory graphics also observed. The taped section of the blade shows puck marks and small tears over both sides as well. Addtionally, the longtime Red Wings captain has signed the lower shaft of the stick with a beautiful pink paint pen ink signature that displays beautifully and shows only light wear in a couple of small areas.
