This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/14/2022
The only boxer to be named The Ring magazine Fighter of the Year six times, Muhammad Ali needs no introduction to fight fans, with his legendary career often cited as the greatest in history. Offered here, is this lot of two framed displays of the legendary boxer. The first display, features an 11” x 14” photograph of Ali that has been mounted on a wood background that measures 13 ½” x 20”. Emphatically shouting in the picture, Ali has signed the image with a bold blue ink signature that displays without issue. The bottom of the display shows a black information plaque, that denotes the piece as a limited-edition offering serial numbered “123/1960”, and is flanked on either side by gold coat of arms badges. Remaining in excellent condition with just light wear to the wood’s corners, the piece is accompanied by a JSA LOA. The second display, featuring an unsigned 8” x 10” image from the famed Ali vs Liston fight mounted on a wooden back made to look marbleized, which shows light wear to the edges and corners. Alongside the image, is an unopened bag of vintage Muhammed Ali branded popcorn from 1992, with a plaque listing Ali as the greatest found below that. Full dimensions of the second plaque measure 15” x 12”.
