Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Amassing a total of 805 points in 1060 games played over the course of his National Hockey League career, Rick Nash was no stranger to creating offense for the teams he played for over the course of his time spent in the league. Hailing from the 2013-14 season, we have this stick used by Nash. An Easton V9 model with “61 Nash” factory graphics over the shaft, Nash’s original tape job of blue-cloth-over-white is found on the handle/knob (with the blue cloth loose near the bottom) with white residing on the blade. The handle tape shows a handwritten “67” on the side, denoting the stick as being from the Rangers 67th game of the season, a 2-1 defeat by the Minnesota Wild, with Nash picking up an assist on the lone Rangers goal. The stick shows moderate game-wear with puck marks to the blade tape and marks/abrasions to the lower shaft. A gripping agent that has died out is felt throughout the shaft as well. Additionally, a Steiner hologram sticker is affixed to the stick on the backside of the blade.
