One of the greatest defensemen of the modern era of the NHL, Nicklas Lidstrom spent his entire career patrolling the blueline in Motown with the Detroit Red Wings, winning four Stanley Cup Championships along the way. Offered here is the jersey the seven-time Norris Trophy winner donned at home during the 2003-04 season. Made by CCM, a size “52” fly tag is found in the inner collar with a red “1” heat pressed on above as well as the original team store price tag. Logos of CCM and the NHL shield are found over the rear neckline and hem respectively, with the front of the jersey styled with the classic embroidered winged-wheel team crest. The solid white V-neck has been accented with “5” sewn to the sleeves and verso in attractive single twill, with “Lidstrom” arching across the upper reverse in matching material. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks are found over the front and both sleeves, which also show board burns and team repairs on each. Sweat staining is found at the collar with the reverse having blue and red board burn paint transfers. A team tagging patch resides on the inside of the rear hem denoting the jersey as a “2003-04 Authentic Game Jersey 2nd Set” offering. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #3407336 (March 18th, 2004 vs Phoenix) to the multiple stick marks seen over the lower front and the “5” on the left sleeve. A Hockeytown hologram is affixed to the inner collar and is accompanied by a matching COA.
