Hailing from the collection of former pro hockey player, Joe Evans, we have a pair of team-signed complete programs from the early days of the post-Original Six National Hockey League with examples from the 1968-69 Oakland Seals and the 1972-73 Chicago Black Hawks. The Seals signed program, from January 31, 1969, at home against the Maple Leafs, measures roughly 8 ½” x 11” and shows wear to both the front and back covers including creasing and to the bottom right corner via page bends. 18 members of the Seals have signed the front in a mix of black marker and pen including; Charlie Hodge, Norm Ferguson, Ted Hampson, Brian Perry, Doug Roberts, Francois Lacombe, Gerry Odrowski, Joe Szura, Gerry Ehman, Gene Ubriaco, Dick Mattiussi, Mike Laughton, Earl Ingarfield, Bert Marshall, Bill Hicke, Gary Jarrett and Carol Vadnais. The autographs largely display well with the signatures on the left side showing light smudging or liquid damage. The Black Hawks signed program, from a game on March 8th, 1973 in Los Angeles, measures 8 ½” x 11” and shows light handling wear and edge wear. 18 members of the Black Hawks have signed the front cover in blue ballpoint pen including; Tony Espositio, Bill White, Pit Martin, Jim Pappin, J.P. Bordeleau, Phil Russell, Dick Redmond, Dennis Hull, Chico Maki, Cliff Koroll, Lou Angotti, Jerry Korab, Pat Stapleton, John Marks, Ralph Backstrom, Keith Magnuson, Gary Smith and Dave Kryskow.
