A plethora of items dating to the late-2000s/early-2010s in the history of the Montreal Canadiens, including here in this collection are a pair of gloves worn by Tomas Plekanec, a team-signed pro-stock helmet, six (6) Canadiens game pucks, a Canadiens training/warm-up suit, a program from the franchise’s centennial game on December 4th, 2009, two (2) team signed 2010 playoff roster sheets and a sealed Canada Post/Royal Canadian Mint Canadiens centennial loonie plus stamp set. Starting with the gloves, made by Reebok and in the Canadiens red, white and blue colours, are decorated with the brands logos screened onto each cuff with “Plekanec” is embroidered into the wrist of each. Exhibiting light game-use with a few marks and stains over the outside of each, the palms each show light rubbing, the heaviest seen on the right hand, but remain hole free. The team-signed helmet, a pro stock Nike Bauer example in the Canadiens blue colour, is decorated with Canadiens decals over each side with an additional NHL shield decal affixed to the reverse. Showing only light wear and in good condition, the piece is signed by 19 members of the 2009-10 Canadiens in silver marker including Carey Price, Andre Kostitsyn, Scott Gomez and Andre Markov. Some of the signature show wear and scratches. The game pucks, six (6) in total include four (4) that sport the 1909-1910 logo on the front face with one signed in silver by Scott Gomez with the autograph showing lots of wear and scratches. The other two, displaying the normal “CH” crest include one signed by Mike Cammalleri in the same silver ink and condition as the Gomez. The pucks all show light surface wear. A pair of team signed 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs sheets are also included with each member of the team signing over their respective image. Measuring roughly 12” x 7 ½” each and having been cut out of a book based on the far left edge, all the autographs are signed in blue or black and remain in excellent condition. Also included, is a Canadiens training/warm-up suit. Made by Reebok and consisting of two jackets and a pair of pants, all three are size medium and remain in good condition with some stains present over the Canadiens crest on one of the jackets. Rounding out the group, a program from the team’s 100th anniversary game on December 4th, 2009 that is serial numbered “20498/23000” on the reverse and remains in good condition with light handling wear exhibited and a crease to the bottom right corner is present, while lastly is a centennial loonie and stamp set that is still sealed, produced by Canada Post and the Royal Canadian Mint.

He lectures internationally on a variety of topics, including stability ball exercises and ground-based sport conditioning, for groups such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Society of Weight Training Injury Specialists, provincial associations, and professional teams. He has written for the NSCA Journal of Strength and Conditioning, Ironman, Physical, Men’s Journal, Hockey Life, and Hockey Now.
