A product of the Fighting Sioux, Jason Blake played in parts of 13 NHL seasons, and he’s also represented the US internationally, taking part in both the World Championships and Winter Olympics. Hailing from the 2006-07 season is this New York Islanders jersey worn by Blake. Made by Reebok, a single size “54” flag tag is affixed to the inner collar. The front is decorated with a partially embroidered Islanders team crest while an alternate logo patch resides over the right shoulder. The sleeves and verso of the jersey have been accented with Blake’s number “55” in tri-layer tackle twill with “Blake” spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. The interior of the jersey shows a Meigray tag numbered “D02840” over the lower hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Navy Set 2” specimen. Sporting good game wear, light stick marks are found over the crest and lower front while the sleeves show light board burns. Each shoulder shows a team repair and multiple board burns with a repair present near the right sleeve numbers as well. Damage to the numbers on both sleeves is also seen. A team LOA will accompany.
