An 18-year NHL veteran, Ed Jovanovski would be elected to five All-Star Games over the course of his career. Worn by Ed during his tenure with the Vancouver Canucks is this jersey from the 2002-03 season. A CCM made offering with “Made in Canada” and sewn over size “58” tagging affixed to the inner collar, logos for CCM and the NHL are found over the neck and rear hem respectively. Featuring a partially embroidered orca whale crest over the front, Jovanovski’s number “55” has been stitched to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer tackle twill with “Jovanovski” spelt out in single layer navy letters across the affixed nameplate. Inside the jersey sports a Meigray tag numbered “A05403” over the rear hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White 2nd Regular Season” specimen. The jersey shows good game use with marks and unrepaired holes over the sleeves and front with the sleeves also exhibiting board burns. The fight strap has washed-out handwritten text on the reverse side and the jersey is accompanied by a matching LOA.
