Both informative and entertaining to youthful hockey fans during the 1970s, Peter Puck was a puck-shaped cartoon character created by the iconic Hanna-Barbera Studios, and he offered tips regarding the rules of the game along with its history between periods. Originally obtained from Brian McFarlane, offered here is this collection of six (6) pieces featuring the puck shaped character. Headlined by two original animation cells from the original series, the colourful squares measure approx. 9” x 9” and remain in excellent condition while the paper borders around them so expected age and handling wear. Both displaying Peter doing what he does best, being a hockey puck, one is hand numbered “20” at the top with the other numbered “22”. Also included is a trio of Peter Puck books including both the French and English versions of “Peter Puck and the Stolen Stanley Cup” that were authored by McFarlane. Both in excellent condition with just light handling and surface wear and some light toning to the covers, the interior pages remain crisp white. The other book is a colouring book that remains uncoloured on the inside that shows light surface wear and creasing to the covers. The last two pieces included are a place card from 1974 that measures 8 ½” x 11” and shows handling wear and age while last but not least is a binder displaying an image of Peter on the cover with the title “Peter Puck’s Card Album” above that remains in virtually unused condition while showing light handling wear over the white background.
