Featuring Original Six teams from before the days of the famous six team National Hockey League, we offer a pair of programs for contests pitting Les Canadiens against the Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings. Both from games contested at the Forum, the first is from a Canadiens vs Bruins matchup from February 27th, 1932. Picturing a generic Hab on the cover along with the .10 cent purchase price and advertising from Red Indian gasoline, the 40-page survivor features full-page bios and photos for Cooney Weiland and Wildor Larochelle as well as the referee, Cooper Smeaton. With the centerfold line-up present and intact, the scorers page at the back has been filled out, listing the final tally as 4-2, won by Montreal.
The second program, once again showing a generic Canadiens player along with the .10 cent purchase price and advertising from Red Indian, also displays the season of 1932-1933 on the right side. A match up featuring the newly renamed Detroit Red Wings on December 29th, 1932, a 3-3 tie between the clubs, the centerfold line-up is once again present and intact but has come away from the bottom staple. Featuring full-page bios once again with an image of Sylvio Mantha on page 7, the scorecard on the back page remains unscored. Both in admirable condition and presenting with expected handling wear, creasing, toning and surface wear are found on each with spine wear also exhibited.
