Proclaimed “National Hockey League Champions 1931-1932” on the offered CCM advertising display despite actually finishing second to the Montreal Canadiens, the New York Rangers topped the American Division at the conclusion of the 1931-32 NHL campaign, before losing in the Stanley Cup final to the Toronto Maple Leafs. At approx 14 ¼” x 21 ¼” and produced on thick cardboard stock, the opulent Art Deco display feature’s a colourful large CCM logo over the base, with the flags of each of the NHL’s eight teams patriotically waving on either side of a centrally-placed maple leaf, with a 7” x 9” black and white Rangers team photo inserted beneath. Extremely rare and ideal for prominent display, there is corner and surface wear along with a pinhole and creasing, with a bit of paper loss to the team photo. Set in a vintage frame to full dimensions of approx 20” x 26”, there is also some wear to the frame to note.
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
