A Massachusetts boy and product of Harvard University where his dad serves as head coach, Ryan Donato was drafted by the hometown Bruins 56th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Cracking the lineup for the 2017-18 season, Donato was wearing this jersey when he scored his first National Hockey League goal on March 19th, 2018 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Made by Adidas, “56” sizing is affixed to the collar band with NHL and Adidas crests gracing the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar Bruins’ spoked-B team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the faux tie-neck sweater has been accented with Donato’s “17” in dual-colour tackle twill sewn to the sleeves and verso, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Sporting light game-use with a few board burns present over each sleeve, a MeiGray patch numbered “P00181” sits over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a “Black Set 2 - NHL Debut & 1st NHL Goal” specimen.
