Holder of the record for most fighting majors in NHL history, Tie Domi also holds the distinction of being the Maple Leafs all-time leader in penalty minutes with 2265 in 777 games played with the blue and white. Hailing from the 2005-06 season, is this jersey worn by Domi, specifically during the “Hockey Hall of Fame Game” played on November 3, 2005. Size “54” and “Made in Canada” fly tags are affixed to the inner collar with a faint “1” handwritten in washed out black marker for set 1, while NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Styled over the front with a partially embroidered vintage style Leafs crest under a tie-up neck, the all-important Hall of Fame Game patch is affixed over the right breast. The customized shortened and taken in sleeves and reverse have been accented with Domi’s “28” in blue tackle twill letters with “Domi” spelt out above in similar style on the affixed matching nameplate. The interior of the jersey has a MeiGray tag numbered “C09793” over the lower reverse hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Third - HHOF Game 11/5/05” specimen. The jersey is also listed as a size “54D” in the population report, with the meaning of the “D” unclear. Sporting just light game wear via a stick mark on the right sleeve and under the crest, the jersey exhibits liquid staining throughout.
