The American League batting champion for 1993 with a slash line of .363/.473/.599, John Olerud would win back-to-back World Series Championships with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1992 and 1993. Presented here is this signed Rawlings bat used by the first baseman with the Seattle Mariners during the 2002 season. An Adirondack 433B model with “John Olerud” in block letters over the barrel above “Mariners”, the 34” lumber has “John Olerud 32 ½” handwritten over the knob along with the batch and date codes. Remaining uncracked, the bat shows good game use with numerous black marks seen throughout the piece and light pine tar to the handle. Additionally, Olerud has penned a black ink signature over the barrel with the autograph displaying well with the tail of the “J” appearing a bit lighter.
