Worn during the Montreal Canadiens 100th season of play of 2008-09 is this centennial games game-worn equipment collection of four (4). Leading off, is a pair of gloves worn by Glen Metropolit. Made by Easton, the all-blue gloves have “Easton” screened to the cuffs with “Metropolit” embroidered into the wrists. Easton Pro model patches are sewn to the backside of the wrists with Easton patches sewn to the thumbs. Displaying light-to-moderate game-wear, the fronts show light marks/abrasions while the palms show rubbing and fraying at the finger tips with a hole starting to form at the base of the left thumb. Next, is a pair of pants worn by Francis Bouillon. Made by Bauer buy void of any branding, the all-blue pants have had an additional piece of fabric sewn over the Canadiens logo on the right thigh while the NHL shield is embroidered into the back of the right leg. Sporting a “Francis Bouillon #51” patch on the inside left hip, the pants remain in good condition and are free of tears while exhibiting various marks/abrasions throughout. The third item is a helmet worn by Robert Lang during the “1912-13” game on Feb 1st, 2009. Made by CCM with the Canadiens “CAC” decals over each side, stickers for Lang’s number “20” are found on the back with the “2” showing wear. The strapping and harness remain intact and all padding is present on the inside. Showing game wear through marks and abrasions over the front, the helmet remains in good condition. Rounding out everything is a pair of the iconic “baber pole” style socks. Made by Reebok and tagged size “L”. Worn by an unknown player, both show good game-use with a handful of black marks on each as well as small board burns.
