The newly minted captain of Les Canadiens, former 1st round pick, Nick Suzuki, takes the helm of the Montreal ship starting with the 2022-23 season. Presented here is a lovely collection of items used by Suzuki. Leading off is a practice-used stick from his time with the Vegas Golden Knights. A Bauer Fly Lite model, “Suzuki” factory graphics are found on the shaft with Nick’s original white tape job over the black and handle/knob with a handwritten “17” found in black ink on the handle tape. The stick shows game use in the form of puck marks and tears to the blade tape as well as marks and abrasions to the heel and lower shaft. Next up, is a pair of items from Suzuki’s rookie season with Montreal. First, is a pair of Bauer pants with both size “M/M” and “Suzuki” tags sewn to the inside. Blue in colour with red and white stripes down each side, the right thigh shows the Canadiens logo with “Bauer” branding on the left one. The NHL shield is embroidered into the back of the right leg. Game use is moderate-to-heavy with numerous marks and rips to each thigh. Additionally, Getty Image #1205857992 has been matched to the marks and rip found on the right thigh. A Canadiens hologram is affixed to the left thigh. Also induced from his rookie year is a set of gloves worn by the centre. Bauer 1X Lite Pro models in the Canadiens red, white and blue, the Bauer logo is embroidered into each cuff with “Suzuki” stitched into the upper thumbs. Showing heavy game use on the fronts with fraying, rubbing and tears, the left palm exhibits a small hole. The gloves have been photo-matched with Getty Images #1207379747 to the loose thread on the “U” in “Bauer” on the left cuff and to the rip on the pinky finger of the right glove. Nick has signed the cuff of the left glove with a black ink signature that displays without issue and a Canadiens hologram is affixed to the interior of the left glove as well. The lot is accented with a laundry bag that was used by Suzuki, made by Warrior of mesh construction with Nick’s number “14”, and Canadiens logo and over the front, the piece remains in good condition, as well as a home and an away set of Canadiens game socks worn by an unknown player. Showing numerous marks throughout, each of the white stockings have a patched repair to the inside while one of the red ones also has a similar style mend. Each of the white socks have a small handwritten “2” on the size tag. Both the pants and gloves are accompanied by team COA’s.
