Drafted by his home province Quebec Nordiques in 1988, goaltender Stephane Fiset backstopped four different clubs throughout his career and represented Canada internationally at the IIHF World Championships. The Montreal native also won a Stanley Cup championship with Colorado in 1996. From his second of five seasons in Tinseltown, we have a photo-matched Los Angeles Kings jersey worn by Fiset in 1997-98. Starter and Center Ice labeling with a “60-G” size swatch is affixed to the collar, with Starter and NHL crests to the reverse hem. Styled with the classic Kings team crest with embroidered detailing, “35” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Fiset” across the upper reverse in single black twill. Exhibiting good game-use with a number of scrapes and material pulls over the front, there is some additional wear to the material on the sleeves and large areas of faint red paint transfer. Getty Image #391960 (Dec 9, 1997) has been matched to particularities to the threading on the numbers on both the left and right sleeves. The “Set 1” team patch resides on the inside hem.
