Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Drafted by Carolina in 2011 and seeing action in just two games for the Hurricanes, defenseman Keegan Lowe played his junior hockey in the WHL with Edmonton, scoring over 90 points for the Oil Kings throughout his four seasons. We offer an Edmonton Oil Kings alternate captain’s jersey worn by Lowe in 2011-12, a season that witnessed the club advance to the Memorial Cup. Elite and Reebok CHL labeling with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with a WHL crest to the right breast, just above the 2012 Memorial Cup patch. Styled with a multi-coloured and textured team crest, “4” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered twill, with a CHL crest to the reverse hem. Exhibiting good game-use, there are burn marks and paint transfer to each sleeve along with material-backed team repairs, with examples situated over each lower sleeve. Lowe has signed the team crest in black marker, with no issues for the signature.
