A three-time NHL All-Star, representing the Czech Republic at every level for over over a decade, Roman Hamrlik was selected 1st overall by Tampa Bay in 1992. The stalwart defender was known for his offensive prowess, scoring over 600 career points. From his time in Alberta, we have a photo-matched Edmonton Oilers jersey worn by Hamrlik in 1998-99. Elite, CCM and sizing labels (58) are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests to the reverse hem. Styled with the classic oil drop team crest in tackle twill, “22” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with alternate crests to each shoulder. Exhibiting heavier game-use with marks to the front band and considerable burn marks to each lower sleeve, there is also a clump of team repairs to the lower left sleeve. Getty Image 1298390051 (Nov 11, 1998) has been matched to the pattern of dark marks over the front band near the right seam. The “Set 1” team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA to accompany from the Oilers, along with a COR from MeiGray.
