From his first of 372 NHL career goals scored, we have Eric Lindros' game-worn gloves from both his first NHL game and first NHL goal, with the pair photo-matched. These gloves were worn by Lindros for the entire 1992 preseason all the way until early-November of the 1992-93 regular season. Louisville TPS models, each solid black glove with white trim features “Eric Lindros” embroidered over the wrist guard, with faded but legible handwritten “1 88” on the interior. Each glove shows nice use with the leather rubbed on edges, with wear to the palms including a hole on the left hand. Lindros only wore one pair of Louisville gloves with his name embroidered in white on the cuff. He then switched to Louisville gloves with his name embroidered in orange, and then went to Cooper gloves for the rest of the season. Gloves are photo-matched to a 1992 pre-season photo to the marks on the black leather portion of the right glove just about the vertical-printed "TPS". Gloves are also photo-matched to Lindros' first NHL game at Pittsburgh on October 6th 1992. The photos show Eric and Mario Lemieux. The black mark on the left wrist or cuff area of the glove that goes through the white embroidered "L" of the Louisville logo can be seen. That mark also shows up in a number of other photos. To help date those pictures to his first NHL game, Eric only wore the CCM helmet and the Louisville gloves for a very short time period in 92-93. The next time they played in Pittsburgh was on Dec 15th, 1992 and Eric had already switched to a Cooper helmet and Cooper gloves. So, that photo can only be from his first NHL game. Another photo shows Lindros on the cover of the Fan magazine, you can clearly see the small black marks on the white portion where the wrist guard ends and meets the black leather cuff. Two additional photos show that same black mark through the bottom part of the white Louisville logo on the cuff. The three magazines that show photos with matches will be included, along with a pair of posters (wear to each item).
