While Jordan Eberle was drafted in the first round in 2008 by Edmonton, the most memorable goal from the Regina native thus far occurred in the 2009 World Juniors, scoring against Russia with just 5.4 seconds remaining to force an eventual shoot-out. This retro-style Edmonton Oilers alternate captain’s jersey was worn by Eberle in 2012-13. Elite and size “56” labels grace the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with a tackle twill team crest and “14” sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, the alternate’s “A” is positioned over the left breast. Sporting a few board burns to each sleeve, there is an unrepaired small hole near the left elbow. A Meigray patch numbered “JH05448” resides on the inside hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Retro Set 1 w/A” specimen. An LOA from the Oilers will accompany.
