Another in the long line of NHL records set by iconic superstar Wayne Gretzky, the 1981-82 NHL season would witness The Great One plateau the 200-point total – the first time in NHL history – with his 50 goals scored in only 39 games surely to stand the test of time. Occurring in a 7-5 victory over Philadelphia on Dec 30, 1981, Gretzky would score five goals in the match to reach his 50th, along with a single assist for a six-point night. We offer a framed signed photo of Gretzky celebrating his 50th goal in 39 games. The 8” x 10” photo shows a jubilant Wayne in celebration, while dejected Flyers’ Bill Barber and Pete Peeters hang their heads. Signed in silver paint pen, with the large signature displaying well, the photo has been double-matted and attractively framed to 16” x 19”, with the particulars printed directly onto the matte at the base. A few holograms have been affixed including from WGA, with a matching COA to accompany.
