Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022

One of the most important and coveted hockey cards of the postwar era is offered here and pictures a teenage Bobby Hull, the young man from Ontario who would go on to establish himself as the greatest left winger in hockey history in the minds of a majority of longtime hockey observers. Bobby's rookie statistics appear on the back of card #66, with this example receiving a mark of 6.5 ENM+ from KSA. Edge and corner wear, most noticeable at the top and bottom left corners (small ding to each) are the grade-lowering flaws. Feared by goalies and adored by his fans, Hull's NHL numbers would be even loftier and more impressive had he not been lured to the WHA in 1972. Hull had five 50-or-more goal NHL seasons and scored 913 regular season "major league" goals - what a scorer! An opportunity to secure an absolute prerequisite for a big-time rookie card collection merits consideration, with a few small light scuffs to the KSA holder to note. It should also be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA may not correspond to those of PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this card through any of those services therefore would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
