Sure to keep the winner occupied for hours is this collection of hockey publications and memorabilia containing 12 pieces that is headlined by a program from game 4 of the 1958 Stanley Cup Finals between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens held at Boston Garden. The Bruins would take the game 3-1 but would ultimately watch Montreal skate away with the Cup in six games. The program exhibits wear to the cover and first couple pages as well the lineup insert sheet in the form of tears and paper loss. Containing plenty of reading material, four copies of Beehive’s “Who’s Who in the National Hockey League” are included from the 1936-37, 1937-38, 1939-40 and 1940-41 as well an official National Hockey League rule book for 1937-38. All remain complete in good shape with typical wear while the rule book has taped up rips on the front cover. A program from game one of the 1974 quarterfinals between the Canadiens and Rangers at the Forum is also present and has just light handling wear. Rounding out the lot, items include a hard-to-find Series 1 Beehive photograph of the Stanley Cup on a blue background card with light wear and a small tear to the bottom of the photo, a 1935-36 Montreal Canadiens Crown Brand team photo and a 1936 “The Champion” sports wallet with stamps affixed on the inside with two envelopes depicting hockey players. Lastly is brown envelope from the St. Lawrence Starch Co. Ltd envelope.
