Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022

Skating in the IHL with Kalamazoo and Muskegon in the early-1980s along with a single AHL season with Adirondack, Larry Elson first starred with his home province Ottawa 67s for a trio of OHA seasons beginning in 1976-77. Worn during his time with Ottawa, we offer a 67’s jersey worn by Elson (1976-78). A frayed Wilson label with “46” sizing is partially affixed to the collar, with no other tagging to the vintage tie-neck durene. Featuring a 67s team crest fully administered in layered tackle twill, “5” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with no nameplate to the upper reverse (this jersey predates the common use of nameplates, additionally, there is no spacing available, as the reverse number was placed higher up). The red tie neck string appears to be the original. Exhibiting heavier game-use with wear to the material throughout including marks and scrapes, there is also pilling to the interior, blue and red paint transfer and a single team repair – situated near the left elbow.
