Nicknamed “The Iron Man” and spending his entire 21-year MLB career with the Baltimore Orioles, Cal Ripken Jr. did the unthinkable on September 6, 1995 when he passed Lou Gehrig’s record of 2130 consecutive games played. Presented here is a signed Cal Ripken Jr. Baltimore Orioles jersey. Made by Majestic and remaining in new-with-tags condition, the size 48 black garment is stylized with tackle twill team crests and numbers. “Ripken” is stitched across the top of the back in similar style below an American flag patch. The sleeves feature an Oriole patch and the Ripken Jr. retirement patch respectively. Ripken has signed the front of the jersey in bold silver ink that displays well with no issues. An MLB hologram is affixed under the front jock tag as well as a JSA sticker numbered “AC82083” that is accompanied by a matching certificate of authenticity.
