Widely regarded as the greatest defensive player of all-time and often compared to Tom Brady when debating who is the greatest player in NFL history, Lawrence Taylor led the New York Giants to two Super Bowl Championships in 1986 and 1990. Presented here is this New York Giants helmet has been signed by the 10-time Pro Bowler. A full-size Riddell replica model with Giants decals over each side, the helmet displays well with some sun fading throughout. Taylor has penned a perfectly crisp and bold silver ink signature just above the Giants decal on the left side. A JSA sticker numbered “AC82051” has been affixed to the lower right reverse and is accompanied by a matching certificate of authenticity. The lot also includes a program and ticket from the 1991 Super Bowl. Both items remain in good condition with the program remaining fully intact with only light wear around the edges and corners. The ticket is held in a screw down holder and is still complete with the only wear being two adhesive marks on the back of the ticket at the top and bottom. Of note, the helmet is housed in a display case that remains in good condition with general wear from age including light scratches and scuffs. The items can be shipped with or without the display case depending on buyer preference.
