Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/3/2024
One of the toughest living legends of hockey signatures to acquire, especially specimens without a personalization, here is a wonderful Ken Dryden example. Widely regarded as one of the all-time greatest goaltenders, despite a comparatively brief NHL career spanning 1971-79, Dryden is a six-time Stanley Cup champion, a member of Team Canada 1972, and the only player ever to claim the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP before winning the Calder as rookie of the year the following season. This lot features a signed cut from the legendary keeper encapsulated as “Authentic Autograph” by Beckett. Dryden’s blue ballpoint signature is displayed on white paper that measures to approximately 2” x 3 ½” within a black matte that surrounds the 3” x 5” paper with a blank verso. This is an ideal candidate for any Montreal Canadiens or HOF goaltenders autograph collection.
