Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Matching the longevity of the one and only Mr. Hockey, Jaromir Jagr has seen action in over three decades of the highest levels of professional hockey, and earned numerous awards and accolades along the way, including five Art Ross trophies and three Lester B Pearson Awards along with a Hart Memorial. From his first Art Ross Trophy win, we have a stick used by Jagr in 1994-95 with Pittsburgh, a season that witnessed 70 points in 48 games. A KOHO Vector DRC model with inserted black wooden blade, the original black tape with reinforcing red strand is intact over the handle, with the blade tape in place. While there is no name stamped to the shaft, Getty Images confirm Jagr using models with no name like the offered specimen in 1994-95. The stick shows good use, with the blade possibly used longer than the shaft, with chipping along the top side edge of the blade and a few marks to the shaft.
