This autographed game-used goalie stick from the first game of the 2011 Stanley
Cup Finals comes from the personal collection of Tim Thomas. A Reebok 11K gamer with “T. Thomas” stamped high on the shaft, it retains Tim’s original tape jobs on the knob, lower shaft and blade. Thomas, who won the Vezina Trophy that season, placed a bold black marker autograph across the top of the paddle with his “Game Used Stick” handwritten notation in bold black marker. Great game wear here with chips on the top edge at the bottom of the paddle, just above the blade, a solid puck ding on the front of the shaft, and plenty of black marks on the blade’s tape job, which displays game wear along the bottom edge. This game-used stick is photo-matched (Getty Images # 115259035) to Game One of the Stanley Cup Finals on June 1st 2011 to the mark through the "BO" of "Reebok", to the chip on the heel of the blade and to some pucks marks on the blade's tape. It is also photo-matched (Getty Images #115259026) to another photo from the same game to the red goal paint transfer marks on the upper back side of the stick. This treasure from the Bruins’ most recent Stanley Cup win will come with Tim Thomas’ signed LOA.
